Variety similar to the Tropea red onion.
These onions were first caramelized with brown sugar and then cooked with balsamic vinegar.
When I tasted them I first perceived the softness of the onion, then the sweet taste of the sugar, then the sourness of the vinegar and finally the spiciness of the chilli pepper.
Fully satisfied with the result!
